Actor, Storyteller, Tour Guide, Creator
So. You’ve found me. You’ve finally found me. Bravo.
I’ve been expecting you, actually… and I’m GLAD you’re here!
Because now that I’ve got you on my web page, I can tell you about all the things I’m really excited about! Like…
Let’s talk about New York City!
My home for over 15 years, I’ve wanted to live in NYC ever since I saw West Side Story while home sick with the flu. The singing! The dancing! The… fire escapes!
I love New York SO MUCH, I’ve made it my business. Literally. For over a decade, I have led walking tours telling New York history with dramatic flair that would make Tony and Maria proud.
Book me at Metro Tours to learn the Secrets and History of Lower Manhattan – a perfect tour for first-time visitors to NYC! Locals and tourists alike enjoy the TriBeCa Architecture & History Tour, which dives deep into the surprising stories of the bougie little hamlet. With hundreds of five-star reviews on TripAdvisor alone, it is obvious that these tours are not to be missed!
Ok now let’s get personal – are you as obsessed with the morbid and macabre as I am? Seen every episode of Law & Order? Ever fooled around with a Ouija board?
Then if I may be so bold, I think you’d really enjoy taking a ghost tour with me! Let’s take a tour together with Ghosts, Murders & Mayhem Walking Tours!
The curious seekers of the ghostly and gory will love visiting Greenwich Village, for a picturesque stroll through the mysterious. True crime fans will enjoy delving into the Hell’s Kitchen Mostly Murder Tour – this one’s not for the faint of heart! My personal favorite tour is the Lower Manhattan route – nothing beats a candle-lit stroll through the deserted downtown of the metropolis, bringing the ghostly echos of the past to life. I’m telling you, I can’t get enough of this stuff! And I can tell you all about it!
Oh, let me tell you about all of the props, costumes & puppets I’ve helped build for Broadway, off-Broadway, and touring shows!
As a freelancer, I have had a hand in creating pieces for Broadway shows including Hamilton, Frozen, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Moulin Rouge!, Beetlejuice, Tina, MJ, Dear Evan Hansen, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. My work has toured the country and the world in Mean Girls (US), Phantom of the Opera (SE Asia), and many others.

While we’re getting to know each other, you can also swing by my YouTube channel, to see weekly vlogs chronicling my everyday life in New York City, working as a tour guide, shopping for groceries at Trader Joe’s, and living it up in the Big Apple as the farthest thing from a high-rolling influencer that you can possibly find:

Hey! Long time, no see! But seriously… It’s September, rainy, there’s a chill in the air, it’s SPOOKY SEASON. No better time for a 🧟♂️ zombie story – so why not bring this old blog back from the dead, huh? Well, let’s catch you up. First off… COVID! Huh?? HUH?!!! No, I haven’t been locked…
FEELING: Nominally better, in general. My RN who prescribes my Escitalopram straight-up DOUBLED my dose for the duration of…. *gestures around at the fuckery* THIS. It is … not sucky. The other day I was blissed-out watching Nadiyas Time to Eat on Netflix and I was so happy to see her holding baby sheep and I realized…
Aw, its evergreen, but I feel it on SUCH A DEEPER LEVEL. We*re — what? — SIX weeks into quarantine? Or is it Social Distancing? Or Self Isolation? I dont know, I dont know the difference, and I dont actually CARE. The gist is, its been a fuckin LONG TIME since I left…
I*ll admit it: my favorite hobby is scrolling. Scrolling through my phone! Scrolling on my laptop! I am a Millennial, after all. I came of age with Social Media. I was among the first generation of teenagers who were addicted to it – of course, then we only had MySpace, message boards, and AOL…
dont @ me, this photo was taken last month before the world ended and we all had to go inside. FEELING: Next question. . WATCHING: Ok lets be real — the only way I know what day it is is by which TV show aired last night, so I can watch it online…
I don*t even know how it got here, but once it arrived, there seemed to be no getting rid of it. Last week half a bag of jasmine rice showed up in my food cupboard. And by *food cupboard* I of course am referring to the 1/2 of the shelf below the microwave…
Wow, what a year this has been! Not so different from last year, and yet, so much has changed. Me abandoning this blog, for one thing. Is “blog guilt” real? Because I think i’s real. It feels so real! To be honest, I haven’t stepped through the Blog Door of my brain in too long and I’m…
FEELING: Like I’m taking a breath at last! After a good six months of steady, nonstop, deadline-pushing work, I’ve kind of got a little more breathing room in my schedule. The only problem is, it’s made me kind of miss work! Like, now that tours are slowing down, there’s finally time to ENJOY giving…
FEELING: Starting to relax — starting to. I’ve recently gone from consistent 12-hour days to more routine 8-hour days at work. Still doing tours on weekends, but I’m trying to eke out a better work-life balance for myself. I’m feeling needed and inspired, which is good. . WATCHING: I was really disappointed with the…
FEELING: Kinda overwhelmed? I’ve been working at a different studio for most of the month, a studio that’s over an hour away from my home, and the commute was killing me. How do people do it? I’ve also been having stomach problems randomly and repeatedly all month (a month which has flown by, honestly!), which I’m worried about. . WATCHING:…
FEELING: Amazingly, a little bit more balanced! A few weekends of minimal tours/responsibilities combined with a trend of getting home from my weekday job by 7pm has left me feeling like I’m just the tiniest bit more in control of my life. You will recall, of course, that my summer had been swirling to a mad…
Ok, after complaining incessantly about being busy and basically abandoning my blog, I’m seeking balance. Because I don’t want to ABANDON my blog. BUT, I can’t exactly pre-schedule blogs to post 3x a week either. That was feasible when I could write blog posts during my free time. Now, I’m all like, “what’s free time?” …
