FEELING: Must I say it? “INCREDULOUS that the year is already over!!!” November was a hard one. Tours and work busy, then slow, then TOO BUSY. I mean, this post is 7 days late because I simply haven’t had the time, and I don’t think I took any selfies this past month aside from this one! My Instagram is DEAD. I’m a little overwhelmed, and the holidays are always hectic.

WATCHING: In the two hours I’m awake after working, I have been watching (read: falling asleep ten minutes before the end of) Kitchen Nightmares and this excellent show on Hulu, Travel Man! Strongly recommend.

LISTENING TO: My favorite podcasts: Dark Poutine, Beyond Bizarre True Crime, Last Podcast on the Left, Casefile, Canadian True Crime, Sword and Scale. And Heart’s “Alone.”

READING: If I’m this busy, do you think I’m reading anything? Yeah. Hell no.

WORKING ON: Literally, just work. I like being busy. I’m okay with that. I’m also trying to be better to myself: I forgot to take lunch one day this week and I’m trying to be better to me. Not put so much pressure on myself and get plenty of sleep.

THINKING ABOUT: Who has time to think?

EATING: Egg sandwiches and seltzer. Chocolate. Tea – Trader Joe’s Pomegranate White Tea and Candy Cane Green Tea. I’ve been enjoying a hot cup of tea in the evenings.

LOOKING FORWARD TO: Seeing what 2019 is going to be like. WOW, that felt weird to type! I’m looking forward to Christmas for the time off which, around my parents’ dog, means “time hard at work throwing frisbees.”

MAKING ME HAPPY: I like being busy (don’t get me wrong, here!)! It’s sort of nice to put in a full day’s work and then come home to eat dinner and pass immediately out. I found a great natural deodorant that I love, and I’m interested in picking it up in a different scent! All of the weddings I went to this month were amazing, and my sparkly dress from the New York one is still hanging up in full view in my room. As long as I’m working on only sewing, I can wear rings at work, and wearing rings is one of my favorite simple joys! Also, I painted my nails silver and gold, and they’re so sparkly! I’m hoping to feel more festive as time goes on!
