Practice Makes Perfect

A funny phenomenon at Comic Con (hee hee that rhymed) is that people
dress up.  I guess this isn’t so weird – it’s the month of Halloween,
after all.  But people go ALL OUT.  And then, you walk around and take
pictures of people’s costumes.

Now, here’s the weird
part.  Cosplayers – people who dress all out in costumes – will usually
assume a pose when asked to be photographed.  Poses!  Battle poses, sexy
poses, funny poses.  But nearly everyone will pose for a photograph.
So it becomes imperative to practice:

Or else you will freeze up and forget all you learned when confronted
with a life-sized Dalek and your pose will look like a squealing
fangirl:

How embarrassing.

  1. I ended up not going this year. Some things didn't work out 🙁 Who were you dressed as? Also, I'm loving the length of that scarf!
