Little Red Lighthouse

You guys, I hate to whine, but life is a mess for me right now.  Everything is up in the air, nothing is for certain, and it’s all new and scary.  I’ve been working so much there’s scarcely been a moment to myself.  Whine, whine, whine.
So yesterday, instead of waiting on the clothes in the dryer at the laundromat, I popped in 8 quarters and Eels and I took a walk down to the Little Red Lighthouse. Just under the George Washington Bridge, which is across the street from my apartment.
It was windy, sunny, and just warm enough not to need a jacket.  Watching the water flow calmly by was a nice reminder of how life continues to flow by, even while we’re preoccupied by things like money and jobs and backstabbing and guilt.

No more words.
Just pictures.

(As it should be)

  1. Sorry to hear things are stressful. Looks like you had a great day. We have a park on our side too. No lighthouse though =[ But there are outdoor grills =D

    1. Can you see our lighthouse from there? I love the river. You can get right down on the rocks near the water. It's so funny to go from urban jungle right down to the water, it feels like an escape.
