For Day Three of 30 Days Hath November, I humbly present something I never leave the house without.
Indeed, it is something NO ONE should EVER leave the house without.
Except for that one time I did leave the house without it, and felt really stupid about it.

Keys: my heavy-duty extra-secure door key, dainty mailbox key, and the key to happiness, also known as my apartment.
Hand Sanitizer: because subways be icky, yo.
Pills: when you’re allergic to everything, it’s safest to carry around a reserve stock of Benadryl.
Whistle: to call for backup.
Snitch: Serves the most purpose — helps me find my keys when I am “seeking” them in a large bag.
Pepper Spray: even an O.G. like me feels better with a backup plan.
