July 31st is my birthday! I have been a bit quiet about it on here… frankly, I’ve been quiet about a lot on here, this past year. This year was intense — by which I mean, it had some of the highest highs and the lowest lows — but overall, I’m surprised to admit that the highs outweighed the lows! 33 — you’re a better Smashing Pumpkins song than you are a year, I’ll give you that. BUT! I think though the year has been a roller coaster, I’m happier now than I was when I started. Can’t say I’m not gonna be happy to see the door slam on 33… but it was a journey. And tomorrow it will be OVER! Sometimes you have to walk through fire to get to the other side, you know? 33 was my fire. Let’s see what 34 has to bring!
